Emotion Video

1. The emotion that I did my video on was Excitement. There are many different ways that can make things be exciting. In my video I decided to film a different prospective of a party from mostly floor level. There was lots of excitement from dancing to games that were going on. I also expressed it through changing the speeds of different parts of the video slowing down and speeding up different parts and even reversing parts to add effect.
2. I enjoyed using some of the different effects when making the video including the different features that are available in after effects. I also enjoyed making the music for it even through it took a lot of time.
3. One thing that I didn’t like was the exporting process to get the movie into d2l because the file was just over the size limit. I tried making it a zip file but this didn’t change the size by much, so I had to add it to google drive and just share it.
4. My insight is to make sure to try many of the different features as there are many cool effects that we didn’t go through in class.

Game Design

1. What did you learn? I learned how to build a basic game in the Unreal Engine and some ways that we can make 3D object in the Maya Platform.
2. What was easy? Changing the different patterns on the stuff I put into the game and adding things things that were already in the platform.
3. What was challenging? Creating my own pattern from an image for tiling and creating the objects in Maya.
4. How could your submission be improved? Add some objects that are movable by the player. I didn’t figure out how to make something movable.
5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class? Spend more time going through some of the settings like finding how we could build things that could be moved.
6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios? I gain some experience using Maya and Unreal, I could see myself using 3D modeling in the future.
7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you? The video going through creating the pawn in Maya helped a lot. Also building our own tiling.

My Web Design

1. What did you learn? I learned how to navigate the Figma platform and the different step in creating, ordering and creating links between designs in Figma.
2. What was easy? Creating different pages and adding and add content to the pages after making them.
3. What was challenging? Adding the links between some of the pages to create the web page preview.
4. How could your submission be improved? Add some more background to the pages to dress them up especially the home page.
5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class? Spend more time going through adding the links and creating better backgrounds for the pages.
6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios? I gain some experience using Figma that could be helpful in the future when using this platform and learned more about web page design.
7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you? The video going through creating the logo in Figma helped a lot since I never used Figma before that.

Valentine’s Card

1. What did you learn? I learned how to navigate the photoshop platform and the different step in creating and organizing deigns in photoshop.
2. What was easy? Creating different backgrounds for my card with gradients and the painting tools.
3. What was challenging? Removing the background from my own picture and remembering the different shortcuts to navigate in photoshop.
4. How could your submission be improved? Blend rose better on inside and maybe pick a different graphic for the front of the card.
5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class? Spend more time going through shortcuts and removing backgrounds together.
6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios? I gain some experience using Photoshop that could be helpful in the future when using this platform.
7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you? The video going through adding backgrounds helped with figuring out where to find and how to create them.
