Digital Design Concepts Typography

In this project, I learned how to use Figma to create stamps that use typography that makes them more visually interesting. It was not very difficult to do. I can’t really find any flaws in my work. I also don’t know how the assignment could be improved. The knowledge that I received from this assignment can definitely be applied to future projects that I do.

Digital Illustration Infographic

In this project, I learned how to create an infographic that was both interesting to look at and educating. The infographic I made was a population map of New York State. I did not find it to be very challenging. Maybe there could be more detail on the map of New York. I’m not sure how this assignment can be improved. I could definitely use the knowledge that I gained from this project for future work.

Digital Design Concepts Patterns

With this project, I learned how to create patterns that are effective at making an image more appealing. It was not very challenging. Perhaps I could’ve added more images to emphasize the message that I was trying to push. I do not know how the assignment could be improved. I could definitely use my knowledge received from this project if told to create a pattern for a piece of art.

In this project, I learned how to properly apply different colors when making designs. It was not a very challenging experience. Perhaps I could add more detail to some of the designs. I can’t think of any way that this assignment could be improved. I could definitely use the knowledge that I gained from this assignment in future jobs that I potentially find myself in.

In this project, I learned how to create interesting designs using Figma. It was easy and not challenging due to my past experience with Figma. I do not know how the project could be improved. I could definitely apply the knowledge that I gained in this project if I ever have to design a logo.

In this project, I learned how to use certain tools to create interesting artwork in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. It was easy due to my past experience with Photoshop and Illustrator. There wasn’t much of a challenge. I don’t know how the assignment or my submission could be improved. I could apply my knowledge of this project in works of art I feel like making.

With this project, I learned how to create the concept for a website using Figma. It wasn’t super challenging and quite fun to find locations and take pictures. Maybe I could’ve found more historical spots to add more depth to my concept. I have no idea how the assignment could be improved. I could definitely use the knowledge I gained from this assignment whenever I use Figma again in the future. Seeing the example used for the site helped inspire what I decided my project would be about.

Web Development

With this project, I learned how to develop a website. It was moderately difficult, not too hard, not too easy. Maybe I could take some pictures to help liven the website up. I will definitely use the skill of developing websites in the future. Seeing the example site inspired me to go with the color palate used for the site.

Project 4

With this project, I learned how to use Adobe Premier Pro to edit and create videos, and it was moderately difficult. Perhaps it could be improved if I filmed more footage and went to more places. Personally, I am not sure how this project could be improved. I could definitely use this knowledge in the future when I get a job in graphic design.

Project 3

There was a lot about this project that I found interesting and challenging. The main thing I learned was how the Unity engine works and how people make video games using the Unity engine. Using the engine was definitely very challenging, mainly because of how long it took for certain things to import. Perhaps with a more effective computer I will be able to use the Unity engine more efficiently.
