Satisfaction was the emotion I choose, a synonym for content in some ways, but to me means glad with what I have. For my video I expressed this in a few ways, one was the appearance of my cat, content and satisfied in the comfort of my bed as the title card. Moving on from there was the rising angle of the tree, which plays in more with my soundtrack because it shows my home as well, and me being satisfied with my life and home overall. Then the clip of wrapping the present came and this was a bit more on the literal side of satisfaction, happy with the work put in. Showing the wrapping and displaying how well it looks and turned out and feeling satisfied with the work put in. And finally the sunset, or at least what I attempted to capture of it, showing that not only am I satisfied with what I have done today, but the world is as well. Specifically in the video I really enjoyed the angle I had on the tree as well as my choice of music, I feel like it all came together well for a nice beat and presentation. I will say what I didn’t like was the editing process, every time I imported something it kept saying that I made an entire new sequence.

Project 3

I learned that the amount of details that actually go into 3D modeling is far more than it leads itself onto be and that there are more things that will most likely go wrong than right. What the easiest part was honestly choosing the designs that I wanted for textures, it was pretty much just drop and go. The most difficult part was definitely without a doubt the model making from Maya to Unreal and every part of it, I just could never nail it right the first time and had to repeat my steps several times. I think my submission could be improved by perhaps spending more time making everything in the game look more like a park, I feel like some of the architecture was just kind of placed there since I did not have a full grasp of how to properly build structures in that world. I think that the professor could have improved the assignment by showing other methods of making structures other than just revolve, or showing how to make multiple parts of a structure so that way you could have 2 different textures in one model, or multiple layers in that model. Being able to bring to life what I envision through the use of Unity is going to significantly help me in the future especially when it comes time to choosing a house or designing a floor plan for my office. I think the best video was the one that explained the development of the pawn, it was really the only part of this assignment that kicked my butt backwards and forwards and having the video rather than relying on slides made it far more manageable.

What did you learn? I learned the way to use figma in a professional manner that allowed me to create websites as well as a logo for my personal use.
What was easy? I found that it was fairly easy to make the links and different slides and the ability to click on the different words and jump to different pages.
What was challenging? I found actually coming up with a logo to make as well as choosing the right font for the entire website the most difficult
How could your submission be improved? My submission could be improved by perhaps adding more to it to draw more attention since I felt like the grand majority of it was kind of bland and empty space.
How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class? I feel like giving the heads up that this is going to be a little more professional based would be a good idea, I kind of made mine more goofy than anything else
How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios? Well I want to become a lawyer so making business cards and a website are pretty much essential so being able to perform these tasks on my own is a great skill to have.
How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you? Looking at the video concerning the actual process was extremely helpful since it not only gave me a reference to work off of but also allowed me to look back at times I struggled
