What did you learn?
- Within this Project we learned how Ar is implemented into things that we already use everyday.
What was easy?
- The easier part of this project was to navigate figma.
What was challenging?
- For me, the most challenging part of this project was developing ideas that would make AR useful for my app.
How could your submission be improved?
- I think with more time that the app could become more user friendly and smoother.
How could I improve the assignment for the next class?
- What if we made this project a group project that would simulate working on something like this in a work space.
How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?
- With the trends in today’s professional world I believe that this CS and design knowledge would come in handy.
How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?
- It wasn’t necessarily a video but we had a conversation amongst the class during the intro lecture for this project that genuinely had me excited to try some new ideas.

DMA 217 Project 2 (Spring 25′)

What did you learn?
A. The Biggest thing I learned On this Project was that coding now compared to a couple of years ago is a completely different ball game.
What was easy?
A. The easiest thing in this project was getting started, even though it’s usually the opposite.
What was challenging?
A. The biggest challenge I faced was taking the base code given to me by the AI and molding it so that it fit the needs of my project.
How could your submission be improved?
A. The Biggest improvement that I can mention is having a final product for this submission, but seeing that I would like to take this website further than just this class or project I felt as if it needed more time.
How could I improve the assignment for the next class?
A. I know that the final project will be just as fun but I could also see this project being a final, just on the basis that I wanted more time to work on it.
How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?
A. As I mention I will be using this website to help promote my media production skills but, I will also being using these skills to develop things for people in the future.
How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?
A. I think the biggest inspiration that I found on this project was our guest speaker, that went on to tell us the changes in the coding world and how we might meld into the professional work space.

What did you learn? ->Throughout this project I learned how to use components to make mass adjustments to a Figma project. An amazing tool for speeding up the work flow.

What was easy? -> One of the easier tasks for me was the organizational part of the project system management and workflow is a strong suit of mine.

What was challenging? -> One of the more challenging parts of this project was learning how and when to use instances when working with components.

How could your submission be improved? -> I think one of the main ways that i could improve my project would be with more background animation and smoothing between pages. I also think that if i were to actually develop an app like this u would add some sort of graphics to match the color pallet.

How could I improve the assignment for the next class? -> I really enjoyed the process of this project and would recommend it again, but it would be cool if you were to change it to a project that was more interactive like a game.

How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios? -> the concept of making the prototype in Figma and to then be developed in actuality is something i think im going to adopt into my workflow for creating videos. Using Figma as a platform to make story boards with interactive layers. This could be great for pitching clients!

How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you? -> It wasn’t really a reading that inspired me but an image, my aim was to create an app that look reminiscent of the old IPhone 3GS, also mentioned in a picture shared with me by professor Dunkle.

DMA 214 Project 1: Gestalt Concepts

Project 1: Twinkle, Twinkle little Star

What did you learn?

With This Project i learned how powerful Figma can be as a tool.

What was easy?

The easiest part was that our designs were based off pre-existing songs.

What was challenging?

The most challenging of the project was learning how to execute my ideas in a new program.

How could your submission be improved?

I think i could have spent a little more time gathering ideas on how i could implement the Gestalt concepts.

How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class?

I think the Professor did a great job on giving us time in class and explaining the assignment. It would be nice to get to practice a little bit more before the project, but for a grade to provide incentive to get better.

How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?

Im super excited to be able to add web design to the list of things i can bring to the work force. For example, revising my summer jobs website, or making logos and designs for my personal business.
