1. What did you learn?

I learned to take my time and experiment with the tools I had available in order to create a new model. Once I started playing around with the different sculpting tools,

2. What was easy?

Creating the initial pawn model was easy to me. Creating the points to then revolve was fairly straightforward.

3. What was challenging?

The modeling and rendering itself was very challenging to me and took longer than I thought. Most of the tools moved the points in a way I didn’t want them to. When I started to render the model, there was a shadow on the end of the barrel that made it invisible. I tried to get rid of as much of it as possible, but some of it is still visible.

4. How could your submission be improved?

I could have tried to completely get rid of the shadow, but I thought it would take too much time. I also could have taken more time to smooth out some edges.

5. How could the professor improve the assignment for the next class?

I think it would have been very helpful to go through each of the sculpting tools in depth so we know how to properly use them.

6. How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?

I now know to acknowledge all of the tools I have available in any given assignment work scenario so that I don’t ignore a tool that could be helpful.

7. How did a specific reading or video inspire or help you?

N/A
