For this project, we had to create a compilation of scenes to create a video with emotion. I recorded my life as a commuter. I went for a soothing and calm emotion throughout the video. I really tried to give out a relaxing vibe. I found this project quite simple with my prior knowledge of Adobe applications. In class, the instructor taught us using adobe animate however I’m more familiar with after effects so I created my intro through that application. I found this project fun and interesting, allowing us to have the freedom to give express ourselves. We used Garageband to create background music throughout our video. With this knowledge, I could apply it to future projects for school and leisure.

]]> For this task we created a maze game in the Unity application. First we created a border to keep the player inside of the map. For that we had to raise and lower elevations. Next we had to add textures and for a road and textures for mountains. I also added some trees for a little more of an environment. The most difficult part I had to do was create the coin. For this I had to add the prototype and configure the sound and particle effect once the user came in contact with it. I couldn’t get it working sadly. If we had , more time with this project I would have be very interested to learn more about unity. The professor was quite confused with the application as for us students however we made by. This project was interesting and different as for every project.

]]> This assignment was very neat. I was quite familiar with the HTML language so I found this assignment easy than others. Its been a while since I coded a website so I forgot some of the terminologies, however, the helpful hints the professor put in the code assisted me to create my site. Something I would have changed was to create the overall look of the website more. For example, have subsites for each of my categories and create some interesting transitions and text edits. However, with the given time limit and the short introduction of HTML made this a little difficult. The knowledge I acquired from this lesson could assist me in creating a basic website for someone or for myself. This knowledge is very useful for the future. Websites are great for marketing businesses, pitching ideas or just creating a site such as this, a blog. I had a great time, and I really like how the professor lets us create our own ideas and lets us be creative in the ways other classes cannot give.

]]> I’m very familiar with the use of photoshop so most of this came easy with me however I learned some new things. I never knew you could wrap text onto a shape, I knew you could wrap text into an “arc, flag wave, etc” however this was new to me. This also had to be the most challenging for me considering the text wanted to be wrapped on the inside. Multiple times I pulled the text out but I would only get parts of my text. I see this type of route a little glitchy and annoying. My submission could have been improved with keeping more of a storyline/movement in the card, however, it is just a Halloween card so I suppose there isn’t much of a plot. I believe the professor could have improved his end goal, such as giving an/his end work so we can understand more clearly what is wanted. Also, add some of a grading rubric so we know what is clearly graded upon. However, I greatly appreciate the videos that are put up just in case something is missed during class. I can use my knowledge of these methods for a lot. Such as other class project assignments(since I have the applications), social media, almost everything. Just the knowledge of this application will be useful anytime editing of a given photo, or creation of a photo is needed. The way the professor edited the girl with the broomstick inspired me to something difficult so I decided to test myself. On the back, I had to get rid of Jigsaw’s background. I used the magnetic lasso tool and used the easer while changing the size and using the shortcuts I was taught. Overall I really liked this assignment it gave us our freedom to choose what we want additionally having a fun time.
