How to create a working prototype for an app in Figma utilizing “AR” and video elements
- What was easy?
I really liked the idea I came up with once I figured it out.
- What was challenging?
Creating the AR overlay and timing it up with the video.
- How could your submission be improved?
The overlay does not quite match the video, the video needed to be more methodically and evenly filmed.
- How could I improve the assignment for the next class?
I being able to use After Effects for the AR element and then importing the video into Figma, building out the rest of the app there, would’ve been easier.
- How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?
AR is a developing technology and the basics of how an app might interact with it could be very helpful.
