Project 2: Website

  • What did you learn?

I learned more on how to use figma, and I learned how to create a webpage that matches on mobile and desktop.

  • What was easy?

Creating the bones of the website for mobile was the easy part. It was like what we had done last project but slightly different now that we had the menu.

  • What was challenging?

Creating the idea behind the website. I had just created a website in another class, and I wanted this one to be different. I ended up using the same concept, but working it differently enough so that they are two distinct websites.

  • How could your submission be improved?

I chose the colors for the mobile page. On the desktop page it didn’t seem to work as well. I think going back and choosing more tech styled colors instead of the natural theme I was going for would work better.

  • How could I improve the assignment for the next class?

There’s not a lot to improve on. The only problem I had with this assignment was I felt like it could’ve been over with a lot quicker. Even after missing a few classes, it didn’t feel like I missed much. It dragged on for too long, and I would’ve preferred to get some of it done for homework instead of spending an extra week more than needed.

  • How might you apply your knowledge in future assignments or work scenarios?

Hopefully this assignment will allow me to use figma even better. I hope that the next project my work can get more creative and stylized.
